My Cars

These are some of my cars which I race using my own parts to preserve the original parts.

RCL International Incident

I restored this car ready for racing at the Broxstowe Revival 2 meeting in 2021. The weakspots on the car were the gearcases, uprights and steering rack, which usually resulted in one breakage a meeting when I raced it back in 1988. I replicated these parts, using metal threaded inserts in the uprights. The car came out unscathed (apart from dropping driveshafts) and won Icon of the Day!

Yokomo YZ-870c

This car took a win in its year class at the 2021 Lakeside Classic. Suspension arms, steering knuckles, uprights and bulkheads (RPM style) are all printed and are entering their 3rd season this year.

Losi JrX Pro

So far, this car has done 2 Lakeside Classic events (2020&2021) and the Robin Hood Raceway rear motor event in 2022. This has Andy's style printed front arms, printed front uprights and a printed rear bulkhead with a taller opening for a modern LiPo to fit. Despite a huge off at RHR which destroyed the front bulkhead, my printed parts survived unscathed.
